Story #1

It seemed like last week I was flooded with stories from people about how God is working through the church and in their life.  I’m going to post 3 of them this week with their permission.  They come from people with vast differences, but you’ll see a common theme.

The first is from a person (Jennifer) who was baptized two weeks ago…

I wanted to just send you a quick note and tell you how thankful I am.  It <the baptism> was one of the best experiences of my life.  I am so glad I listened to the suggestion of a friend who told me to come to Suncrest.  Since I did not grow up going to church and was not really exposed to religion much I never really knew how to start this journey…the birth of my daughter and my desire to raise her differently than I was, helped point me in the right direction, I don’t think I would have decided to become baptized anywhere else.  It just felt right 🙂  I am so glad that I now feel like I can give her her what I always wanted to have, but just never knew how to get it.  I’m sure you hear this all the time, but what you did yesterday for me really has changed my life.

Thanks so much!

 Jennifer

While I don’t hear that “all the time” I am very grateful when I do.  God has been very good to our church.  I’ll share another one tomorrow.
