Blogging
I made a commitment to blog 6 times a week about 20 months ago and have found it to be a useful and helpful tool for connecting with people, sharing my ideas and insights into Suncrest life and my life. I think it will be for a long time to come in various forms.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve blogged less frequently and for right now I’m trying to get a handle on a few things time-wise. I’ve already talked about being consumed by email (I did well at being disciplined in checking it for 6 days, but “fell off the wagon” today). I’ve also decided over this month that I’m going let my blogging rhythm find a new groove. Instead of expecting myself to post 6 days a week, I’ll let the blog serve me instead of me serving the blog.
How much will I post? I don’t know. I’m pretty sure it won’t be the same every week…and maybe the average post will have more content/perspective commentary. Don’t worry (mom), I’ll still throw in pictures of the kids now and then.
Just a step I’m trying to take to recalibrate personally.
