Suncrest Annual Report

I thought I would share the one page annual report overview that we shared with all of our leaders and others who attended our annual meeting last week.

My quick reflections on it:

-What is missing?  Stories.  Stats are great.  Stories are better.

-Interpretation…Contributors is the number of Suncrest people serving somewhere through Suncrest.

-2011 YTD…The snapshot of our first four weeks was great for attendance and rough (but typical for January) on offerings.

-The Right Response…Gratitude to God.  That’s it.

  1. One time Isaac was in a famine. There was a great drought in the land, but Isaac went out and planted crops right in the middle of that famine. It didn’t make any sense, but somehow in that same year of drought, the Scripture says, “Isaac received 100 times what he had sown because the Lord blessed him.” Looking to God to satisfy our needs and having faith that all will be supplied…somtimes it might not make perfect sense to us, but He will bless us beyond our means.

  2. I wish there were a “like” button for blog posts. I had forgotten that story, but it’s a good example for us.
